Thailand gears up for book fair


Booklovers going on a tailor made holiday to Thailand may be interested in stopping by the Bangkok International Book Fair which will be start next month.

A wide variety of new titles will be on offer together with talks and workshops with authors and a range of staged events.

Last year the event attracted 412 exhibitors from around the globe showcasing their latest releases to the 1.6 million visitors.

Those that fancy picking up a new read can simply turn up with no entrance fee or ticket needed.The fair will run from March 29 until April 8 and take place at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.

Thailand holidays offer a depth of cultural activities including popular stand-up comedy, theatre productions and music events.
